Apollo hospital Health city Visakhapatnam has successfully performed first triple transplant involving Heart, Liver, and Kidney Transplantations. This is the first ever triple Transplant performed in one hospital in the state of Andhra Pradesh explained Dr. Sandeep Chatrath Regional CEO Andhra & Telangana Region.

The Heart Transplant was performed by Dr. A. G. K. Gokhale, Dr Ramana , Dr. Subramanyam and team along with Dr. Farooqi, Dr. Trivedi, Dr. D.K Baruah, Dr. N.K Panigrahi, Dr. D.M.R. Jagannadha Raju and Dr. Suresh .

Liver Transplant was performed by Dr. Manish Varma, Dr. Manjunath and team along with Dr.Muralidhar Nambada, Dr. B.Satisbabu , Dr. Narayana Rao and Dr. Srinivas. N.

Kidney Transplant was performed by Dr. Subbarao and team along with Dr. Anil Kumar Patro , Dr. G Prasad and Dr. P S Vamseedhar.

Critical Care Team Dr. Atchyuth, Dr. Disha , Dr Ravi and team managed Intensive care.

Dr. Ravi Raju Chairman of Jeevandan explained Patient 20 y male medical student, donated organs after brain death ( due to accidental fall from the height ). Jeevandan organisation is doing remarkable work in spreading awareness about organ donation in Andhra Pradesh under leadership of Dr. Ravi Raju Chairman and Dr. Krishna Murthy CEO of Jeevandan.
